How to apply
If you want a grant from the Harnisch Foundation, please read our helpful pointers first before submitting an online Letter of Inquiry.
The electronic Letter of Inquiry must be submitted by someone officially representing the requesting organization. If the request meets the Foundation's priorities and interests, we'll tell you how to submit a formal application. Please note: the only way to submit a Grant Application is after your Letter of Inquiry has been approved. It's a two-step process. No exceptions.

Friday, April 20, 2012 for Letter of Inquiry
Friday, May 11, 2012 for Grant Application, if invited.
AND
Friday, October 19, 2012 for Letter of Inquiry.
Friday, November 9, 2012 for Grant Application, if invited.
In order for us to respond to your Letter of Inquiry in a timely manner, it must be submitted by the deadlines listed above. The contact listed on the Letter of Inquiry will be notified if we will invite a formal Grant Application. If you do not hear back from us within 2 weeks of submitting your LOI, please contact info@thehf.org to inquire on the status of your inquiry. We will send instructions regarding the Grant Application in a separate email.
